This structured training program runs for 12 months. At the end of this program you will be offered a permanent position within the company to pursue a career in any of the available Software Engineering disciplines.

About the Program

This is a structured 12-month training program designed to kickstart your career in Software Quality Assurance. This apprenticeship is perfect for fresh graduates or early-career individuals who have an eye for detail and a passion for delivering bug-free software.

Goal: At the end of this program, successful apprentices will be offered a permanent position within the company to pursue a career as a professional QA Engineer.

About the Role

What You Will Learn & Do

As a QA Apprentice, you will ensure the quality of our web and mobile applications used by Financial Institutions. You will work closely with developers to identify issues before our customers do.

  • Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, and usability testing on both Web and Mobile (iOS/Android) platforms.
  • Test Planning: Learn to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira, ensuring clear steps to reproduce.
  • Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Verify application consistency across different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) and mobile devices.
  • Intro to Automation: Gain exposure to test automation concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) as you progress.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. School leavers are encouranged to apply (after finishing SPM).
  • Attention to Detail: You spot mistakes others miss and have a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Basics: Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly describe technical issues in written and verbal English.
  • Fresh Graduates: Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply!

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Understanding of SQL for database verification.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
